Homecoming Awards

The 91传媒 Alumni Association Award Program honors alumni and friends of the 91传媒 who bring our mission to life through their leadership, service, and meaningful contributions. From professional achievement to community impact, these awards recognize individuals who invest in others and make a difference in ways both visual and lasting.

Together, these honorees reflect the strength, generosity, and enduring connection of the 91传媒 community.

We invite you to help us celebrate these individuals by submitting a nomination! Each year, alumni and friends have the opportunity to recognize those who exemplify excellence and make a lasting impact through their time, talent, and support. 2025 Friend of the University Award Winner, Briget McCabe

Briget McCabe is being honored as the 2025 Friend of the University in recognition of her generous spirit, thoughtful philanthropy, and genuine connection to 91传媒’s mission. Briget’s relationship with 91传媒 began decades ago when she and her late husband would listen to the 91传媒 marching band practice near Pine Street. That affection grew into a meaningful philanthropic relationship with the university – one shaped by both passion and purpose. Inspired by her family’s legacy, she has made significant contributions to the Marching Pride Band, the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions in memory of her late mother, and the Department of Engineering in memory of her late husband—investments that reflect both heart and purpose. Briget’s support goes beyond giving; she stays actively involved with campus leaders, opens her home to the university community, and encourages student creativity through personal engagement. Briget’s warmth, humility, and enduring generosity exemplify what it means to be a true friend of the university.
